Chris is a PhD Student in Dr. Will Shu’s research group. Prior to joining this research group, Chris completed his masters in mechanical engineering at Heriot-Watt. During his undergraduate degree Chris has represented in an entrepreneurial placement with MIT in which he lead a team to create insoles for ski boots using 3D printing techniques. His PhD is to develop a microgripper to assess tissue quality in vivo, with particular focus on early stage cancer detection.
