Valentina comes from Turin, Italy and has recently joined Dr. Shu's research group as a PhD student. She is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and has worked mainly with farm animals since graduation. Her main interests are in the field of improved livestock production through better disease diagnostics, in particular in small ruminant medicine. In her free time she enjoys practising sports, in particular skiing and gymnastics and travelling around the world.
